The Hawaiʻi Bowl today announced that the University of Hawaiʻi will face Louisiana Tech in the 2018 Hawaiʻi Bowl, taking place on Dec. 22 at Aloha Stadium.

All eyes will be on Maui’s Billy Kemper as he looks to secure another win after taking the title at the Jaws Challenge at Pe’ahi yesterday.

Maui’s own Billy Kemper won the Jaws Challenge at Peʻahi, one of three stops on the World Surf League Men’s Big Wave Tour.

Three-time World Surf League Champion, Carissa Moore of Hawaiʻi won the Beachwaver Maui Pro, with a perfect 10-point ride in the final heat of the season.

The J. Walter Cameron Center is once again seeking volunteers to assist with managing the Lahaina Civic Center Public Parking Lot for the upcoming Sentry Tournament of Champions in Kapalua.

JALEN MCDANIELS: “Man, it feels great. It just all started on defense picking up full court playing with a lot of energy and just keeping it up.”

Matt Kuchar and Charles Howell III, became the final two players to qualify for the 2019 Sentry Tournament of Champions, happening Jan. 2-6, 2019 in Kapalua, Maui.

The competition whittled down yesterday, yet ten Hawaiʻi athletes still remain in contention, including two former Hawaiian Pro winners, Dusty Payne (HAW) and Sebastian Zietz (HAW), who will clash against Michael February (ZAF) and Dion Atkinson (AUS) in Heat 14.
