As expected, the Baldwin High School boys and the Seabury Hall girls ran away with the team titles Saturday in the finals of the 62nd annual Satoki Yamamoto Invitational.

Keiki pre-registration for the Lahaina Canoe club opens on Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, between 7:30 and 9 a.m at Hanakaʻōʻō (Canoe Beach) in Kāʻanapali. Registration is free and open to children in grades 4 to 12.

Maui High School’s David Bui decided Tuesday to quit coaching football for the Sabers in favor of coaching baseball for his son’s Little League team.

Although noticeably undersized in comparison to its competition, the Seabury Hall girls paddled big in the biggest regatta of the year, earning a second-place finish and heaps of respect.
