A $45,000 donation from the Max and Yetta Karasik Family Foundation is supporting the ongoing recovery of nature preserves in Kona Hema and Kaʻū on Hawaiʻi Island. 

Iconic rock duo Daryl Hall and John Oates is slated to perform at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center on March 29.

The department will accept application requests from 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020, until 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, for the Summer 2020 season that lasts from April 16 to July 31, 2020.
