Hawaiʻi’s housing crisis is driven by policies that limit affordable options and leave gaps for local families trying to stay housed. Real solutions require building more housing at every level, especially deeply affordable homes that create stability and prevent homelessness.

Pineapple Hill was originally developed with six single-story and two-story floor plan designs, with custom homes being allowed on two or more contiguous lots.  With just 99 homesites, 13 lots ended up being utilized for these larger, custom homes.
