A Wailuku man suffered fatal injuries in a motorcycle accident reported shortly before noon on Monday, Jan. 25, 2016 in Kahului. The incident was reported at approximately 11:53 a.m. on Kea Street, at the intersection of Kaiemi Street.

Wailuku Woman Critically Injured in Pickup Crash in West Maui

A 20-year-old Wailuku woman suffered critical, life threatening injuries when she was ejected from a pickup truck she was driving early Thursday morning in the Kahana/Nāpili area of West Maui. A 37-year-old Wailuku man, who was a front seat passenger in the vehicle sustained minor injuries in the crash.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Honoapiʻilani at Olowalu, Accident

UPDATE: 2:36 p.m. 12/23/15, The Honoapiʻilani Highway is now completely OPEN. It was partially closed to alternating traffic earlier this afternoon following a motor vehicle accident in Olowalu near Mile 15. Motorists are advised to drive with caution and expect a backup as traffic resumes its normal flow.

Motorists are advised of a motor vehicle crash on the Piʻilani Highway at Ohukai Road. Maui Now has received reports of traffic backing up in the town-bound direction.

Traffic is slow along the Haleakalā Hwy at the “Y” due to a motor vehicle accident reported just before 5:30 a.m.
