HIDOE after-school program registration to open April 22

The Hawaiʻi State Department of Education (HIDOE) and After-School Plus (A+)  program providers statewide are encouraging families to prepare for registration for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. A+ registration for HIDOE families opens Wednesday, April 22, 3 p.m. — both online and in person.

Nuestro Futuro provides grants to support Moloka‘i Kāohi program

The Maui-based Nuestro Futuro Foundation has provided two grants this year to support the Maui Economic Opportunity Kāohi program that works to prevent substance abuse, bullying and suicide among middle and high school youth on Moloka‘i.

Two Maui County Middle Schools to Benefit from R.E.A.C.H. Programs

Kalama Intermediate and Molokaʻi Middle School are among a list of 14 schools that received grant funding of up to $70,000.
