Mayor Bissen to honor Maui’s milestone blood donors

Mayor Bissen is partnering with The Blood Bank of Hawaiʻi to honor more than 45 donors on Wednesday, March 22 at 8 a.m. who have made at least 100 lifetime donations. Blood Bank of Hawaiʻi will also host a blood drive for Maui residents, Wednesday, March 21-23 at the Cameron Center in Wailuku.

All donations made during the Maui drive will help to support HUGS (Help, Understanding & Group Support) to benefit families with seriously ill keiki. 

Blood Bank of Hawai‘i Returns to Maui Thanksgiving Week Nov. 22-24

For the first time since February, the Blood Bank of Hawai‘i returns to Maui on Thanksgiving week from November 22 through 24.

Blood Bank Hosts Drives in Wailuku This Week

Today’s blood drive runs until 1:30 p.m. at the Cameron Center in Wailuku. Additional drives are planned at the same location each day this week through Friday.

Blood Drive Gets 87 Pints from Monsanto Maui

The blood drive collected more than 87 pints of blood, enough to supply almost half the state’s blood supply needs for a day and potentially save up to 261 lives.
