#car over cliff

A 21-year-old Lahaina man suffered fatal injuries when the car he was operating went over a cliff side in West Maui. Police have since identified the man as Henry Cacatzun Vasquez, and say the man died at the scene.

Alexandria Duval was placed under arrest and subsequently charged for the offense of second degree Murder in the death of her twin sister.

Two females were found in the vehicle. One was deceased and the other was in critical condition.

Maui Now received reports of a vehicle that went over the cliff near Mile 30-31 into the river mouth.

Motorists traveling to or from Lahaina are advised of heavy traffic due in part to a report of a vehicle over the cliff along the rocky shoreline near McGregor Point. Emergency crews are on scene.
