Habitat for Humanity Maui and UHMC partner to bring free construction course
Habitat for Humanity Maui and University of Hawaiʻi Maui College have partnered to offer a free, five-day training this month in the basics of building construction.
More than 320 Maui-residents have signed-up for free certification and training courses
To date, more than 320 Maui-residents have registered for the free program that will include certification classes in HAZWOPER, OSHA, CDL, and others. Orientation classes for the first 60 students begins today.
Free carpenter pre-apprenticeship training offered at UH Maui College
University of Hawaiʻi Maui College is offering a new, free eight-week carpentry pre-apprenticeship training program this summer for residents interested in pursuing career pathways in the skilled trades as carpenters, drywallers and millwrights starting June 13, 2022.
