Construction work is planned on Piʻilani Hwy from Kaonoulu St to East Waipuilani St as part of Phase I infrastructure work for the new Kīhei High School. 

On the roadways, the state Department of Transportation continues steel reinforcement installations and slope excavation on the Hāna Highway in East Maui.

The DOT will conduct roadwork at various locations throughout Maui this week, resulting in lane closures and alternating lane closures through Friday, Jan. 25.

The Honoapiʻilani Highway is now completely open as of 6:55 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018. Maui police say traffic is starting to slowly resume its normal flow. Motorists are asked to continue to use caution and patience.

Hāna Highway (360) at mile-marker 25 is partially closed to traffic. The Hāna-bound lane is running contra-flow while repairs are conducted.

Roadwork continues on the Halekala Highway this week with one uphill lane of the highway closed in the Pukalani Bound direction.
