Improvements at D.T. Fleming Beach Park begin Nov. 28

An improvements and repair project at D.T. Fleming Beach Park in West Maui will begin construction Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, with work on an ADA-accessible sidewalk from the beach park parking lot to the comfort station.

Christmas Offering: Surf Between 15 to 20 Feet

Another high-surf advisory remains in effect from 6 a.m. this morning to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 25. Surf will rise today, remain elevated tonight into Christmas and projected to peak Thursday, with wave heights on the north shore between 15 to 20 feet.
