Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya Coming Soon to Maui Mall Village

Maui Mall Village today announced that Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya will open at the center in early fall 2024. The restaurant, which operates four locations on Oʻahu, offers fresh, gourmet and affordable Japanese ramen and bar-style dishes. It serves traditional flavors in a chic modern environment with an array of options, from build-your-own ramen to a selection of signature dishes. Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya will open near Center Court with seating for about 40 guests. 

Genki Sushi announces meeting with Mensho to discuss new ramen partnership for 2024

Genki Sushi LTD. will meet later this week, the company will meet with the CEO of the popular Japanese ramen brand, Mensho Inc. to discuss a new partnership between the brands. The franchise agreement is expected to result in a new ramen shop in Hawaiʻi, projected to open in 2024.

FDA Test Results Confirm Hepatitis A in Sea Port Bay Scallops

Laboratory tests conducted by the US Food and Drug Administration on products collected this month have yielded positive results for hepatitis A in Sea Port Bay Scallops (Wild Harvest, Raw Frozen).
