AlohaCare’s community giving program pledges $1M in 2024, applications open

To help celebrate World Health Day on April 7, nonprofit healthcare plan AlohaCare has pledged to donate $1 million this year through its Imua Loa giving program, which supports community organizations and future healthcare workers to help improve the health and well-being of our community. 

Recycling Grants and Green Grants for FY25 being accepted through Maui County department

Beginning today, March 15, the County of Maui Department of Environmental Management will be accepting Letters of Inquiry for programs, projects and events aimed at promoting sustainability throughout Maui County for its Fiscal Year 2025 grant season.

Two Maui County Schools Receive STEM Funding

Twelve Hawai‘i schools, including two in Maui County, will be able to expand science, math, engineering and technology education as the first recipients in a multi-year, $2.2 million grant program to increase students’ readiness for college and careers.

OED Awards Small Business Grants, Announces More Funds

The Mayor’s Office of Economic Development has awarded $24,000 in Small Business Revitalization grants to businesses on Lānaʻi, and announced that applications are now being accepted to additionally fund businesses in Hāna and on Molokaʻi. The awards will range from $500 to $5,000 and do not apply to nonprofit organizations.

County Seeking Public Project Proposals for Recycling Grant Funds

The County of Maui Department of Environmental Management is seeking public proposals and applications to utilize an estimated $237,000 in recycling grant funds. In complement to the request for grant proposals, a grant application workshop will be held Feb. 6, 2015, at 3 p.m, in Ste. 602 of the One Main Plaza conference room.

Young Brothers and Hawaiian Tug & Barge Offering Grants

Grant applications for awards of up to $2,500 each are being accepted for the Community Gift Giving Program through Young Brothers, Limited and Hawaiian Tug & Barge.
