Maui AgFest & 4-H Livestock Fair 2025 boosts Ag awareness with record attendance

This year’s Maui AgFest & 4-H Livestock Fair was a community affair that not only celebrated the agricultural industry, but benefited many other industries on Maui as well. From the local business suppliers who equipped the event, to the nonprofit beneficiaries who provided labor, to the farmers and vendors who sold their goods, Maui County Farm Bureau (MCFB)’s 16th signature event was a successful team effort with blockbuster attendance of more than 7,500.

Mana Up, the Hawai‘i-based accelerator dedicated to growing local product businesses, is expanding to Maui with “The Mana Up Market” at Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows. Set to open in May 2025, this new retail space will showcase products from entrepreneurs who have participated in Mana Up’s statewide accelerator program — bringing their locally made goods to both residents and visitors to Maui.

Maui designer Wailani Artates of Artistry8 wins top honors at Pele Awards

Maui-based graphic designer, Wailani Artates of Artistry8, was among those recognized for outstanding designs during the annual Pele Awards held on Saturday, May 6 in Waikīkī.
