Hawaiʻi actor Kaipo Dudoit brings island charm to Disney’s live-action ‘Lilo & Stitch’

Several Hawaiʻi-born actors are hitting the big screen in the live-action “Lilo & Stitch” when it opens in theaters this Friday, May 23. Among them is Kaipo Dudoit of Oʻahu who plays the role of David Kawena.

“Lahaina Ondo” bon dance song honoring Lahaina community to be released

“Lahaina Ondo” is a new bon dance song that honors the Lahaina community by recalling fond summertime memories of everyday life in Lahaina. It is set to be released on all digital platforms Aug. 8 together with a music video. The song and dance will be presented to the Lahaina community and performed publicly for the first time at the special Aug. 10 Lahaina Bon Dance at the Lahaina Cannery Mall.

Lahaina film ‘My Partner’ to screen at Lahainaluna High School, March 28

Lahainaluna High School will hold a free public screening of “My Partner” on Thursday, March 28 at the Lahainaluna Sue D. Cooley Football Stadium. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., with the screening to begin promptly at 7 p.m.
