Guardrail work to shift and close lanes on Honoapiʻilani Highway
The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation is notifying the public that a guardrail project on Honoapiʻilani Highway beginning on Monday, May 18, will affect lanes.
Modular homes to be transported this week
Hauling in Kahului will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 5. On Wednesday, Aug. 6 from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., modular homes will be delivered to Lahaina.
More modular homes to be delivered to Ka Laʻi Ola next week
Hauling will take place nightly from 9 p.m. to 11:59 p.m, from Monday, June 30 to Friday, July 4 and then again from Monday, July 7 to Friday, July 11. The transport will involve trucks in a caravan that will move the homes from the staging area near the Kahului small boat ramp, along Kahului Beach Road (Route 3400), to Lahaina.
Hauling of modular homes to continue for wildfire survivors, Feb. 26-28
Hauling will take place nightly at 9 p.m., from Wednesday, Feb. 26 through Friday, Feb. 28. The transport will involve trucks in a caravan that will move the homes from the staging area near the Kahului small boat ramp along Kahului Beach Road (Route 3400) to Lahaina.
West Maui residents, visitors asked to conserve water
The County of Maui Department of Water Supply is asking residents and visitors to conserve water until the water treatment facilities can return to normal operating capacity.
Transport of modular homes to Lahaina continues this week
The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation is notifying motorists of potential traffic delays as modular homes for wildfire survivors are transported from Kahului to the Ka Laʻi Ola housing site in Lahaina, on Friday night, Oct. 4 and Saturday night, Oct. 5, with an extra day of hauling reserved for Monday night, Oct. 7, if needed. There will be no transport Sunday night.
