Weekend Wailuku Road Closures and Water Outages
The Department of Water Supply scheduled a water valve replacement project that will result in road closures and leave some customers without water in Wailuku from 11 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19 through 5 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20.
Congresswoman Gabbard Speaks With Maui Sugar Workers
During a Congressional visit to Maui on Monday, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (HI-02) visited with HC&S employees and met with leaders from ILWU Local 142 (Maui/Lānaʻi/Molokaʻi Division) to discuss the transition and support for Maui’s displaced sugar workers and others affected by the closure of HC&S.
