2023 Jr Lifeguard Program enrollment begins
The County of Maui Department of Public Safety Ocean Safety Bureau has opened registration for the 2023 Junior Lifeguard Program, which aims to teach children ocean safety and develop awareness of hazards and beach conditions.
Four Maui recruits graduate as part of the Ocean Safety Bureau’s 4th Recruit Class
Graduating Ocean Safety Officers are: Maluhia Scott, Bryceen Silva, Brody Santiago, and Rachel Hillen. They will be joining the ranks of the Ocean Safety Bureau and will be assigned to current lifeguarded beaches throughout Maui County.
