A 71-year-old Maui woman and her dog are safe after the vehicle they were in plunged off the Kahekili Highway on Friday.

A pedestrian riding an electronic skateboard suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Kaʻahumanu Avenue in Kahului on Monday night.

A 16-year-old girl from Makawao, sustained life threatening injuries in a motor vehicle crash reported at around 1 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2018 on Hansen Road.

Motorists traveling to or from South Maui at this hour are advised of a motor vehicle collision on the Maui Veterans Highway (former Mokulele Highway) near the junction of Piʻilani Highway and North Kīhei Road.  The incident was reported at around 9:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018. Motorists are advised to drive with caution and expect delays in the area. 

Emergency crews are on the scene of a two-vehicle accident on Iao Valley Road in Wailuku. Witnesses say one of the vehicles was swerving before striking a vehicle headed in the opposite direction.

Emergency crews responded to a two car crash at the Kula Highway/Aapueo Parkway intersection in the Kulamalu area of Upcountry, Maui on Monday night. The accident was reported at around 8:45 p.m.

Emergency crews are responding to a motor vehicle accident on the Kuihelani Highway on Maui. As of 7:37 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018. Several cars were reportedly involved. In the video clip above, one vehicle can be seen against a tree where it apparently came to rest. Motorists can expect delays in the area.

Roadway is blocked at the intersection of Kaahumanu Avenue and Kane Street in Kahului due to a motor vehicle accident. Motorists should use an alternate route until the road is cleared.

One of the ejected passengers, a 20 year old female from Haʻikū, sustained critical life-threatening injuries.
