Police say the suspect gave the female teller a bag and demanded she place money within while he brandished an unknown type of firearm.

A man that police had sought for questioning in a bank robbery reported over the weekend, was arrested last night in Pukalani.

Police describe the suspect as 5’8” tall, weighing 150 pounds, between approximately 20-25 years old, and clean-shaven, with no visible scars or tattoos. The individual was last seen wearing a blue hat, black shirt, black/purple shorts, and sunglasses.

Upon entering the bank, police say the suspect ordered all of the bank’s customer on the ground and then proceeded to the each teller’s windows and demanded money.

Jess J. McGowan, 44, was charged with Robbery I, and was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
