King’s Cathedral in Kahului has sheltered and provided basic needs for more than 700 people affected by Maui’s wildfires, and will continue to do so.

Maui County’s Business Development Center director David Daly discussed programs about financial literacy and business planning to a few residents at the emergency shelter Wahi Ho‘omalu ‘O Wailuku.

The Maui Emergency Management Agency in conjunction with the American Red Cross has opened the Kīhei Community Center as an emergency shelter to those affected by the heavy rain and flooding in South Maui.  The shelter is located at 303 East Līpoa Street in central Kīhei.
