An 87-year-old Haʻikū woman died over the weekend after being struck by a sedan that was driven by an 11-year-old boy, Maui police confirmed this morning.

An 87-year-old Haʻikū woman was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of the Nisei Veterans Memorial Center in Kahului on Saturday afternoon. Maui police say the vehicle was being driven by an 11-year-old boy from Wailuku.
