HTA supports Hawaiʻi’s cultural ambassadors through Hoʻokipa Malihini Initiative

To foster meaningful cultural experiences in Hawaiʻi’s visitor hubs, the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority is investing $397,000 in seven Hawaiian cultural programs and practitioners through its Hoʻokipa Malihini Initiative.

Hawai‘i Tourism Authority to reinvest nearly $3M in partnerships with 100+ community projects and events in first half of 2025

The Hawai‘i Tourism Authority has announced its upcoming community partnerships focused on natural resources, cultural initiatives, festivals and signature events. HTA is reinvesting nearly $3 million in partnerships with 105 community-based organizations, projects, programs and events taking place across Hawai‘i from January 1 to June 30, 2025.

Maui Ola benefit concert series for Maui relief continues with “The Green”

The second Maui Ola concert will feature local favorite band, The Green, who will perform live on Sept. 3, 2023, at the Tom Moffatt Waikīkī Shell. The band will offer free live streaming of their performance on mele.com from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

In the 24 hours since the broadcast of  “Maui Ola: A Benefit Concert for Maui,” donation portals, including Maui United Way, Hawaiʻi Community Foundation, Hawaiʻi People’s Fund and the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement, received nearly $1M in donations toward Maui aid.
