Entrepreneurs are welcome to attend the 2016 Startup Weekend Maui, which begins today, Friday, May 13, and will run though Sunday, May 15.

In preparation for the 3rd Annual Startup Weekend Maui set for May 13 to 15, 2016, the Maui Economic Development Board is offering two free workshops—”Business Model Canvas and Lean Startup Overview” on Thursday, May 5, and “Pitch Bootcamp” on Tuesday, May 10.

The Maui Economic Development Board is seeking entrepreneurs to participate in the 2016 Startup Weekend Maui set for May 13 to 15.

A total prize package of $3,400 in business services awaits this year’s 2nd Annual Startup Weekend Maui winning team.

Next week, five Hawaiʻi start-up businesses will vie for the attention of experienced Silicon Valley investors in front of a live audience at the Third Annual MaiTai Maui Tech Night pitch competition on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Maui Tropical Plantation in Waikapū.

“Your County with Mayor Arakawa” will be aired live on Akakū Channel 55 on Wednesday, May 6, at 7 p.m. The topic will be “Startup Weekend Maui.”

In preparation for the “2nd Annual Startup Weekend Maui” scheduled for May 15 to 17, the Maui Economic Development Board is offering a free Bootcamp and Pitch Workshop on Wednesday, April 29.
