On Maui, Rep. Tokuda visited King Kekaulike High School on Maui to surprise Chelsey Miguel, who placed second for ReefWatch, a conservation platform that allows people to document coral reef health and update records.  

Thirty-nine Hawaii students have earned nominations to US military service academies for the Class of 2029, announced US Sen. Mazie K. Hirono on Friday. The nominees will advance for consideration by each academy’s director of admissions.
