Maui’s Sons and Daughters of the Nisei Veterans / Maui AJA Veterans award 10 scholarships

Ten scholarships of $1,000 were presented to graduates of high schools on Maui by the Maui’s Sons and Daughters of the Nisei Veterans / Maui AJA Veterans Scholarship Program.

Nisei Veterans Memorial Center to Hold “Ta-Ke” Leadership Talk, Sept. 15

The Nisei Veterans Memorial Center announced Wednesday its upcoming Ta-Ke leadership talk on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 4:00 p.m. via Zoom. The leadership talk is titled “Together We Can,” led by Stanford Carr, of Stanford Carr Development.

Ceremony in France Commemorates Nisei WWII Veterans

Soldiers of the US Armyʻs storied 442nd Regimental Combat Team was recognized in a ceremony in France over the weekend on the 75th anniversary of some of their most notable feats.
