Maui Island Trustee Carmen “Hulu” Lindsey unanimously re-elected OHA Board Chair
The Office of Hawaiian Affairs Board of Trustees unanimously re-elected Maui Island Trustee Carmen “Hulu” Lindsey as its board chair, a position she has held since December of 2020.
Mililani Trask of Hilo to serve as the new OHA Trustee for Hawaiʻi Island
Former Office of Hawaiian Affairs Trustee Mililani Trask of Hilo was selected by the OHA Board of Trustees to serve as the new OHA Trustee for Hawaiʻi Island. She fills the vacancy created by the resignation of former trustee Keola Lindsey on Feb. 1, 2022.
OHA Chair issues condolences on passing of former Trustee Oswald Stender
“We extend our deepest condolences to the ‘ohana of Oswald ‘Oz’ Stender on the loss of their beloved patriarch. He served with distinction as a Trustee for the Office of Hawaiian Affairs for 14 years from 2000 to 2014.
