Night sewer line work to close one lane of Honoapiʻilani Highway in Wailuku, May 1-2
The southbound lane on Honoapiʻilani Highway between Kuʻikahi Drive and Pilikana Street will be closed from 7 p.m. Thursday, May 1 through 5 a.m., Friday, May 2. Traffic will be alternated through the one open lane.

A Holiday Lane Closure Restriction runs from Monday, Dec. 23, through Sunday, Jan. 5. Only closures with demonstrated need (e.g., necessary for safety or to avoid lengthy construction delays) have been approved and are on this list. There will be no lane closures on Wednesday, Dec. 25 in observance of Christmas Day.

The state Department of Transportation has announced Maui road work projects through Friday, Nov. 15.
Portion of Honoapiʻilani Highway to be closed in Waikapū for sewer line work
Motorists are advised of a full road closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) between Kuʻikahi Drive and Pilikana Street for sewer line work for the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands Pu‘unani Homestead Subdivision. The road will be closed beginning at 5 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 16 until 7 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 17.
Permanent striping work to be completed on Honoapi‘ilani Highway in Waikapū and Wailuku
The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation advises highway users that crews will be completing striping of the new speed tables on Honoapi‘ilani Highway (Route 30) in the vicinity of Maui Tropical Plantation and Kolo Place.
