The Hawaiʻi Association for College Admission Counseling, will welcome students and families to the Fall 2026 HACAC Maui College Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Queen Kaʻahumanu Center. The free event will take place throughout the Center.

The 2026 Maui County Fair will offer opportunities for community members of all ages to participate in contests, competitions and exhibitions when the 99th fair returns Oct. 1-4,. Opportunities range from the Healthy Baby Contest for Maui’s youngest keiki to student competitions featuring agriculture, filmmaking and Esports, as well as fiber arts and animal exhibitions.

Festivals of Aloha continues its 2026 season with Aloha Friday at Queen Kaʻahumanu Center on Friday, Sept. 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. The free, family-friendly evening invites the community to kick off the weekend with live Hawaiian entertainment, cultural demonstrations and activities for the entire ʻohana.

This summer, Queen Kaʻahumanu Center is welcoming a lineup of retail, school, and community-focused pop-ups that offer new reasons for Maui residents and visitors to stop in throughout the season. Pop-ups include Get Nutz Wear, the Lahaina Think Space, 2BDesired, and the Lands’ End school uniform shop.

Due to inclement weather and the severe weather forecast, the celebration (which was originally planned for March 15) has been re-scheduled to Thursday, March 19. It will begin with a traditional lei draping ceremony led by the ʻAhahui Kaʻahumanu royal society.

Queen Kaʻahumanu Center will ring in the Lunar New Year with a cultural celebration and Chinese Lion Dance on Sunday, Feb. 22, beginning at 12 p.m. in Center Court. The free, family-friendly event will feature vibrant live performances, traditional cultural practices, and a giveaway for the first 100 attendees.
