Two men suffered injuries in an alleged assault reported early Saturday morning in Māʻalaea, police said. The victims, a 24-year-old Kīhei man and a 62-year-old Lahaina man were allegedly assaulted by a group of three to four unknown males near Slip 22 at Māʻalaea Boat Harbor.

Maui police have launched an investigation into an altercation in Kīhei that left a visitor with injuries from an alleged assault in Kīhei early Saturday morning.

A 55-year-old man sustained a laceration to his hand during a reported stabbing incident in South Maui on Wednesday night.
