Cameron Center to host a free 50th anniversary event on Oct. 11

The J. Walter Cameron Center will mark its 50th anniversary with an open house event, celebrating five decades of serving the Maui community on Oct. 11, 2024. The event will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

The Domestic Violence Action Center (DVAC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to alleviating domestic abuse in Hawaiʻi, welcomes attorney and social worker Leslee Matthews of Maui, as its vice president of legal services.

The “Road to Restoration” event will take place on Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the J. Walter Cameron Center in Wailuku. The services are free.
