MEO Moloka‘i preschool is ‘Where The Wild Things Are’

The “Where The Wild Things Are” summer for the preschoolers in the Moloka‘i Head Start program concluded with a Rumpus Dance around the Maui Economic Opportunity Kaunakakai office earlier this month.

One more week to apply for Pūlama Kuamoʻo Mentorship Program

A program where students and emerging professionals from Hawai‘i meet and network with established professionals within Hawai‘i’s conservation research and natural resource management community is currently accepting applications for mentors and mentees. The deadline to apply for the mentorship program is Tuesday, June 18 at 11:59 p.m. HST.

Seasonal PALs employees to get more pay in effort to improve recruitment

Mayor Richard Bissen announced today that the County of Maui will increase Summer PALs seasonal employee salaries effective June 1 to assist with recruitment efforts and to support the need for vital childcare programs that help families throughout Maui County.

Assistance Available for Summer Programs, Child Care

Child care subsidy assistance is available for income eligible, Native Hawaiian families who are working, or in school/training with kids ages 0-13 years old.
