Authorities released video surveillance today from a recent burglary of valuable Niihau shell lei from the Maui Hands Art Gallery in Makawao….

Police say a male suspect entered the kitchen area of a Lahaina resort at around 1:15 a.m. without permission and allegedly took items valued at $63.

Police say the Asian Cuisine restaurant was secured at the time and that the suspect stole an undisclosed amount of money from within before fleeing the area.

Maui Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a male and female wanted for questioning in a second degree theft investigation.

Police released photographs today of a female they say is wanted for questioning in a theft-type case. The woman is pictured wearing a black v-neck shirt, light colored capri pants, and a bucket-style hat.

Police say $600 worth of merchandise was taken from the store during the incident reported at 3:53 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014.

The Maui Police Department has released surveillance photos of a male and female saying the two are suspects in cases involving alleged theft and alleged fraudulent use of a credit card.

The shopper inquired with store personnel about the missing items, and learned that the bag and camera had been turned in to staff; but was told that an unknown female walked up to one of the employees and claimed the items.

A female suspect who was allegedly observed with stolen merchandise in her purse was being detained and escorted by store security officers when an unknown male individual “physically wrested the officer’s grasp, freeing the female offender.”

Police say three pairs of Rayban sunglasses were stolen during the incident, reported at 8:27 a.m. on Aug. 30, 2013.

Crime Stoppers alleges that the subject depicted in surveillance photos, withdrew cash from an ATM machine in Paia using a stolen bank card earlier this month.
