Nighttime lane closures June 13 to install temporary traffic signal at Nāpilihau Street
The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation advises highway users of traffic modifications on Honoapi‘ilani Highway and Nāpilihau Street beginning at 8 p.m., Thursday, June 13 to 6 a.m., Friday, June 14. During the nighttime closure, crews will install a temporary traffic signal to replace the traffic signal mast that was shortened on June 1.
Temporary signals at Keawe-Kupuohi intersection in Lahaina to be installed Wednesday morning
A portable, temporary traffic signal system will be installed at the intersection of Keawe and Kupuohi streets in Lahaina between midnight and 6 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, to allow safer access to and from Kupuohi Street. The temporary signals are planned to remain in place until a permanent system is designed and constructed.
Temporary traffic signal to be installed near southern terminus of Lahaina Bypass
The temporary traffic signal near Cut Mountain will allow vehicles hauling fire debris to cross the Lahaina Bypass. The crossing will only be for debris removal vehicles and is not open to the public. The signal will be manually controlled during work hours.
