Two short films feature public artworks in Lahaina

Two project films featuring the latest public artworks in Lahaina are being release. The films were created through the collaborative Hui Mo‘olelo: Lahaina program of Maui Public Art Corps, the County of Maui, Hale Hōʻikeʻike at the Bailey House/ Maui Historical Society and the Lahaina Restoration Foundation. 

County Disaster Preparedness Expo, July 13 at Queen Kaʻahumanu Center

The public is invited to attend the Maui Emergency Management Agency Disaster Preparedness Expo on Saturday, July 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Queen Kaʻahumanu Center in Kahului.

2023 Jr Lifeguard Program enrollment begins

The County of Maui Department of Public Safety Ocean Safety Bureau has opened registration for the 2023 Junior Lifeguard Program, which aims to teach children ocean safety and develop awareness of hazards and beach conditions.
