The National Park Service is premiering “Koa Talking to Me,” a new short film following a Hawaiian man’s love for the rare and threatened koa tree. The film is now available to stream online. 

The campground in the Kipahulu section of Haleakala National Park will reopen on Friday, September 11, 2009.  The National Park Service completed refurbishment of the campground at Kipahulu, including improvement to the facilities available to campers.  Improvements were funded by Haleakala’s entrance fees, allowing the Park Service to give back to the visitors who use […]
