The 2025 Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational will be held on Maui for the first time in its 39-year history.
Oklahoma wins third straight Kā‘anapali Classic on Maui
Building upon their five-shot lead after the second round, No. 2 Oklahoma became the first team to win three consecutive Kā‘anapali Classics, as well as the program’s fifth title on Maui (2015, ’19, ’22, ’23, ‘24) since the event’s inception.

Led by three Sooners in the top 11, No. 2 Oklahoma (-31) holds a five-shot lead over No. 52 Kansas (-26) after the second round of the tenth annual Kā‘anapali Classic. North Florida and No. 67 Indiana (-25) are tied for third. No. 32 Colorado (-24), No. 5 LSU (-23) and No. 26 Georgia (-22) round out the top seven in a stacked leaderboard.

Twenty teams from 16 states have traveled to Maui to compete in the 2023 Kā‘anapali Classic and raise money for Maui’s wildfire victims, including Kā‘anapali Golf Courses’ own associates who lost everything.
2023 ʻĀnuenue Spring Break Classic tees off at Kāʻanapali
The University of Hawai‘i will host the ninth annual Anuenue Spring Break Classic at Kā‘anapali. Fourteen women’s college golf teams from eight states will compete over three days on Maui from March 27-29, 2023 at the Royal Kā‘anapali on Maui.
“Moving Day” for Griggs of Denver & Team Kansas in 2nd Round of Kā‘anapali Classic
It’s often said in golf that day two is “moving day” and there was quite a bit of movement on the leaderboard, Saturday. Carson Griggs of Denver shot an impressive 62 (-9) on the Royal Kāʻanapali Course to move up 12 spots going into the final round at 130 (-12).
Boise and Kansas Tied for First after First Round of 2021 Kā‘anapali Classic
Hugo Townsend of Boise State fired a 64 (-7), one stroke ahead of Loyola Maryland’s Brandon Berry (-6). Team Boise and Kansas both finished at 268 (-16) today after having solid rounds throughout their team. Team Colorado is three strokes off at 271 (-13).
Oklahoma Secures Win in 2015 Kāʻanapali Classic
UH sophomore and Lahainaluna graduate, James Moran-Horton was the lead UH player finishing even par and closing out the tournament T9 at 1-under (212).
