Hawai’i Rotary District 5000 supports student vocational training in Food Innovation Center
Dedicated members of Rotary Maui Fires Relief Advisory Committee, alongside Rotary D5000 District Governor Ted Faigle, visited the University of Hawai’i Maui College to see how Rotary support for student vocational training was conducted at the college’s Food Innovation Center.
The Sentry raises record $735,694 for the Maui community in 2024
The Sentry, alongside representatives from Sentry Insurance, announced today that more than a dozen Maui nonprofit organizations benefited from the 2024 event, which generated $735,694 in charitable funds. This marks the largest charitable donation to local organizations since the event moved to Maui in 1999.
12 Maui students receive scholarships through Sentry Insurance Foundation
Twelve students on the island of Maui will receive scholarships—totaling $25,000 altogether—in 2024 through the Sentry Insurance Foundation’s Sentry Scholars program. To date, Sentry has provided $93,000 to Maui students attending the University of Hawaiʻi system and affiliated community colleges.
