#waihee power outage

As of 4:38 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, MECO officials say power has been restored to customers affected by an power outage reported earlier this afternoon. The outage was first reported just before 4 p.m. in the Waihee, Waiehu and Kahakuloa areas.

The wells in Waihee and Waiehu are currently out of service–they provide half of the water for the Central and South Maui water system.
