Four residents displaced after Wailuku house fire

On Friday afternoon, fire fighting crews contained a blaze of a four-unit, multi-family house in Wailuku to just the second floor of one unit, according to Maui Fire Rescue.

UPDATE: Elderly Man Dies in Wailuku House Fire at Sand Hills

Maui police have since identified the man as 94-year-old Shiro Sam Hironaka, and say the cause of death is pending autopsy results. Police have also estimated damages to the home at $630,000.
