Looking Ahead

Moderate to locally breezy trade winds are expected through the weekend with winds especially gusty Wednesday through Thursday. Passing windward showers are forecast the next couple of days and the remnants of former tropical cyclone Ivette passing south of the state are expected to boost showers for windward Big Island Wednesday and Thursday. A slight decrease in trade wind speeds, and an increase in windward showers is expected statewide over the weekend.
