Looking Ahead
Daytime sea breezes and nighttime land breezes are forecast to continue into the weekend with dry conditions for most areas. A front is expected to stall northwest of the state today and tonight, with scattered showers possible on Kauai, and higher humidity throughout the state. Volcanic haze will affect most areas at least through the weekend. Trade winds should slowly return to the islands during the early to middle part of next week.

Mostly sunny and hazy today. A few isolated showers are expected as the sea breeze kicks in and clouds build in those areas, so mainly in the afternoon. High temperatures from 80° to 85° and feeling warmer due to the heat index. Variable winds 5 to 15 mph with daytime sea breezes in the afternoon.
