A Small Craft Advisory is posted for Maui County windward waters and the ʻAlenuihāhā channel through 6:00 p.m. Friday for winds of 20 to 30 knots and rough seas up to 14 feet.
A High Surf Advisory is posted for north-facing shores of Maui and Moloka’i from 6:00 a.m. Thursday through 6:00 a.m. Sunday for 12 to 16 foot faces. The west of Moloka’i is also under the advisory with 8 to 12 foot faces forecasted. Expect strong breaking waves, shore break and strong longshore and rip currents making swimming difficult and dangerous.

Today we expect partly cloudy conditions and scattered showers. Winds are expected out of the west from 15 to 20 mph with higher gusts. High temperatures are forecasted to fall in the range of 77° to 83°.

Partly cloudy skies are forecasted with scattered showers. Low temperatures from 65° to 71° degrees are expected. West winds from 15 to 20 mph are expected with higher gusts.

Looking Ahead
A weak front will move down the island chain Thursday accompanied by some passing showers. Breezy west winds are expected through Friday with lighter winds on Saturday. Another front will approach the islands on Monday and move down the chain through Tuesday. Southwest winds are forecasted to increase out ahead of the front on Sunday.
