At least a dozen golfers under the age of 30 are making the cut by winning tournaments and becoming eligible for the 2016 winners-only event, scheduled to take place Jan. 6-10, 2016 at The Plantation Course at the Kapalua Resort.

The six primary beneficiaries of the 2015 event include: the Boy Scouts of America – Maui County Council; the Friends of the Children’s Justice Center; Hale Makua Health Services; the J. Walter Cameron Center; Ka Lima O Maui; and the Lahainaluna High School Foundation.

The good news is there is no winner-by-technical knockout. The bad news is Mother Nature is busy dealing with cold fronts on the mainland and has no plan to downgrade the epic conditions contributing to the logjam atop the 2015 Hyundai Tournament of Champions’ leaderboard.
