Former Lt governor, Shan Tsutsui of Maui has endorsed Congresswoman Colleen Hanabusa for governor and announced he will be leading her campaign efforts on Maui.

The funds will be used on plans to increase individual tenancy support for Medicaid beneficiaries who are chronically homeless and expand housing development opportunities.

This third supplemental proclamation continues to provide emergency relief by supporting the County of Maui’s efforts to establish a long-term housing project in Wailuku to target homeless households, serving between 64 to 128 households.

The goals of the trade mission include: increasing business activity by promoting Hawaii and the Philippines as investment and tourism destinations, encouraging trade and economic activities across the Pacific region, and developing renewable and green technology.
