KAMA’AINA NIGHTS WITH BRAD KAHIKINA

Maui musician Brad Kahikina took the stage in the latest edition of Kama’aina Nights at the Queen Ka’ahumanu Center.  Kahikina moves onto the solo scene after a successful run with the seven-member group, big-band sound of Conscious Healing, known for their hit songs Sweet-T-Rite, Share This Dance, and their self-titled song Conscious Healing.

Kahikina was one of three songwriters on the self-titled album that also featured the talents of Chris Oana and Curtis Piligrin.  Kahikina, who continues to perform around the Valley Isle, is now working on a solo album whose release date is yet to be announced.

Now under Nahelu Music, Kahikina plays a variety of popular styles including Hawaiian, Country and Reggae.  His Hawaiian songs are featured on Pacific Radio Group’s KPOA 93.5 FM.

Kama’aina Nights features Maui’s talented musicians on the center stage of the Queen Ka’ahumanu Center every last Friday of the month.  The event is sponsored by KPOA.
