VIDEO: 4.6-4.7 magnitude quake 10 miles south of Makena Maui, NO tsunami expected

A 4.6-4.7 magnitude earthquake struck 10 miles south of Makena, Maui at 6:34 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2010. No Tsunami is expected. The quake was near the island of Kahoolawe. According to preliminary coordinates, it was 10 miles south of Makena, 11 miles SSW of Ulupalakua, 15 miles SSW of Keokea Maui and 26 miles south of Kahului. The depth of the quake was between 6.5 and 11 miles.  (Posted by Wendy Osher)
