Lower Honoapiilani Re-Opened After House Fire

Maui police reopened the Lower Honoapiilani Highway at 2:42 p.m.  The road was closed earlier this afternoon because of a house fire between Olani and 3823 Lower Honoapiilani Road (Hale Ono Loa Condos).

A house fire forced the temporary closure of a portion of Lower Honoapiilani Road on Saturday afternoon (October 8, 2011).

Maui Police closed Lower Honoapiilani Road between Olani and 3823 Lower Honoapiilani Road (Hale Ono Loa Condos) at around 1:55 p.m.

There was no estimated time on when the road would be reopened.
