18 Maui Burglaries Reported Dec. 4 to 10, 2011

Maui police responded to 18 residential burglaries over a seven day period, between December 4 and 10, 2011.

The incidents included three cases in Wailuku; two cases each in Kahului, Makawao, Pukalani, Kula and Waiehu; and single cases in Kaunakakai, Kihei, Spreckelsville and Wailea.

The complete list of locations affected and times in which the incidents occurred are as follows:

Kahului:

  • Friday, 12/9/11, 1:45 p.m.:  Kaiehmi Street, unlawful entry.
  • Monday, 12/5/11, 9:55 a.m.:  Kunu Place, forced entry.

Kaunakakai:

  • Monday, 12/5/11, 10:30 a.m.:  Kamehameha V Highway at the Wavecrest Resort, unlawful entry.

Kihei:

  • Tuesday, 12/6/11, 3:38 p.m.:  Uwapo Road at the Kihei Villages, unlawful entry.

Kula:

  • Friday, 12/9/11, 2:56 p.m.:  Kekaulike Avenue, forced entry.
  • Friday, 12/9/11, 9:20 a.m.:  10000 Block of Kula Highway, forced entry.

Makawao:

  • Friday, 12/9/11, 7:20 a.m.:  800 Block of Makawao Avenue, unlawful entry.
  • Saturday, 12/10/11, 10″37 p.m.:  Keleawe Street, forced entry.

  • Tuesdsay, 12/6/11, 1:30 p.m.:  Aliiolani Street, forced entry.
  • Wednesday, 12/7/11, 7:30 a.m.:  Loha Street, unlawful entry.

Spreckellsville:

  • Wednesday, 12/7/11, 10:30 a.m.:  near Kealakai Place and Nonohe Place, forced entry.

Waiehu:

  • Saturday, 12/10/11, 6:30 a.m.:  Hakina Place, forced entry.
  • Tuesday, 12/6/11, 6:45 a.m.:  Lower Waiehu Beach Road, unlawful entry.

Wailea:

  • Friday, 12/9/11, 5:15 p.m.:  Wailina Place, forced entry.
