A lineup of public workshops offered by the County of Maui Mayor’s Office of Economic Development has been announced for January. The workshops are free unless otherwise noted, and will be offered at the Maui County Business Resource Center in Suite B-9 at the Maui Mall. Seating is limited and dates are subject to change or cancellation.

Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 – noon. to 1 p.m.
Optimize and build profitable relationships online by learning 15 simple marketing tips to help you connect with customers using a website, email, and social media. Instructor Danielle Miller is a marketing coach and EdVentures Maui instructor specializing in social media marketing.
New Rules for Social Media in 2015
Instructor: Nico Fisher
Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015 – noon. to 1:15 p.m., Q&A till 1:30 p.m.
This workshop covers 10 new rules to making more money online by getting organized, choosing the right approach for the right audience, creating content to attract new clients, and increasing traffic to your website. Entrepreneur Nico Fisher has over 20 years of experience with marketing and social media. She currently works as a marketing strategist, social media consultant, and trainer.
Build Your Marketing Toolkit for 2015

Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 – noon to 1:30 p.m.
This presentation focuses on the core concepts of marketing and how they can create a successful business. Each attendee will receive a free marketing calendar with detailed descriptions of marketing tips.
